Marimba Jam Eisteddfod 2019
The Marimba Jam Eisteddfod is an inter-school and inter-band marimba competition. It is It is the largest annual Marimba Band Competition in the Western Cape, having been established in 2017. It was also the first of its kind in the Western Cape- a competition that is specifically curated for marimba bands to show off their skills and compete in an environment that is both festive and competitive!
This event is run through our NPO, Marimba Jam Cares, and all funds raised from this event go directly towards our Rising Stars Program. The Rising Stars Program provides weekly marimba band lessons to under-resourced schools in Cape Town.
